Stream and Buy New Album "Bridges"

I am so excited to share with you my new album "Bridges" which includes songs spanning from my earliest days of songwriting to earlier this year! Stream it on Bandcamp, buy it if you're into it, and it is also available on Spotify and Apple Music!

With a splash of bowed banjo and thumping cello, the styles are wide-ranging from tunes which call to the Appalachians to odd-metered psychedelic numbers, while singing about love, loss, trauma, joy, and growth.

The album was recorded and mixed at New, Improved Recording with sound engineer John Finkbeiner in Oakland, CA. The album is mastered by Myles Boisen. With players from backgrounds in old time, classical, jazz, and rock, and even a 10-person choir with singers from all walks of life, you can hear the influences of Townes Van Zandt, John Denver, and Gillian Welch in her songs, the nostalgic dulcet tones of Sufjan Stevens, the psychedelic trip of a circus doll on steroids, and the intensity of a heavy metal solo.

"Wang’s music feels like the soundtrack to a powerful moment and listening, watching, you can’t help but feel overwhelmed in the right kind of way." - Michelle Kicherer, The Deli Magazine
